I commented about the same before. I also read the novel and I don't remember this happening. After the main plot and the brother story, it ends after 1-2 chapters. To me, this is original for the manhua only
i see, so i guess manhua author decided to continue with their own plot. This just ruined the story for me since the original novel plot was just nice well anythg for the longevity i guess
i think i read the novel before and if im not mistaken the plot goes differently? unless i mistook this for another novel (its been years i mtl it)???
because from what i read ML only had one split personality (the first frivolous one). His true stoic personality resurfaced multiple times and MC had a hard time accepting real ML since he felt loved with 2nd personality. But gradually ML learned to love MC and slowly his 2nd personality disappears - the end - there were no triple amnesia bullsht whatsoever (Mr Dior executed it perfectly but this one’s a mess) unless that was another novel
