So all the progression went down the window in season 2, great
Hi) I just read it in russian, it's hard to tell by just pictures, but you misunderstood a little.
They weren't living together. Situation is like this: company there Subin is working invite Hyoonwoo as as a dj for showroom opening. Subin is marketing meneger, so he went to Hyoonwoo's apartment for WORK. Hyoonwoo confess to Subin that he liked him since hight school, but Subin clearly turned him down. He left, but then return with ingredients for curry, he was worried because Hyoonwoo doesn't eat properly, then Hyoonwoo kissed Subin by force(!) becauуыse he was in despair. But Subin didn't hit or fight with him after that, because he feel sorry for him (and himself in the past, where he was heartbroken because of Hyoonwoo)
So Subin turned him down completly again, and Hyoonwoo realized that he has absolutely no chance
No no, Jun the older guy was very confused about their relationship, beacase his was kinda fell pressured, because Subin allowed Jun make a decisions in any hard moment felling that he is "adult" and much smarter than him. So Jun fell lost in thoughts about: is he really make the right decisions fir both of them, because for him this kind of relationship is also the first T_T
Subin was thinking that he wasn't loved anymore, he was missing Jun all the time and was trying to figure it out what to do
So this "timeout" and temporary difficulties was necessary for them to understand how much they realy care and love each other
The ending of s2 is absolutely sweet an amazing
Subin was staying in the motel for all the time he was away from home
Subin was trying to smooth out the conflict when Jun returned from work by offering to hsve a dinner together, but Jun was tired and didn't want to so Subin started to complain a little
But because Jun was already kinda lost in thoughts about their current situation and by Subin behavior, Jun suddenly asked if Subin even love him, Subin was kinda lost and embarrassed because Jun actually never asked him about
Jun was offended by his vague answer, and when word to word, he said that they both need time to think and stay apart for awhile :(
It seems like I've misunderstood their what seemed like living together situation based on the pictures.
But overall season 2 seems very unnecessary to me.
I'm aware he turned Hyoonwoo down since he ends up with Jun.
omg thank you, I was so confused by the other comments. What you said made a lot of sense. I think season 2 was kinda necessary. Idk how it is since I haven't read it but Hyeonwoo and Subin needed closure. I wasn't very sure about season 1 ending. I think people don't realise how different the endings can be even if you are ending up with the same person again. The situation and many other nuances matter. Anyways thank you!

Actually I'm sorry I forgot to say THE MAIN REASON Jun was irritated with Subin
After that fight in the cinema, they kinda make up, but fell awkward with each other and both thinking hard about their relationship.
When Subin went to first appointment with Hyoonwoo for work. And wheeen, Jun was outside with his colleagues going for lunch and noticed subin and Hyoonwoo through the windows.
They met eyes, Subin was scared asf and tried to hide under the table, Jun went in, Subin tried to runaway pretending he has call from work, Jun had tense conversation with Hyoonwoo asking him to stop confusing Subin
And when Jun and Subin had another fight outside of Cafe, because Jun was very irritated with fact that Subin didn't tell him about meting with Hyoonwoo, he told him: Subin, make me trust you
And after that was that fight I told earlier and Subin left

I didn't even known, that s2 was complete in russian, because usually I read stories in english.
So I was so confused and irritated with this chapters that was translate in english
I was so scared that Subin again will act as infantile child and will f*ck up his relationship with Jun
So I'm kinda proud of him. And really it was nice to see how he was able to overcome his one-sided felling and properly "say goodbye" for his heartbroken first love
It was really nice to see their relationships from Jun perspective and get to know him a little better.my boy
When you put it that way, I could see why this season was made.

We gonna get the closure between subin and hyunwoo. Of course there are ups and downs for jun and subin but they’ll work it out… and for me I really like the s2 ending. Looking forward for eng translations!
