I seriously hate his wife more than him... That was your own sister, you b... How could you not even try to find out what happened to her. So ready to sacrifice and forgive anything just so you can keep your d... provider by your side. You remind me of those single mothers who stay with their p.o.s. man of the hour even after their own daughter has been saed by him...

i beg to disagree. indeed, the husband and wife are both wrong. but the way i see it, the wife is also a victim of the husband's lies and manipulation. when youve been with that person for a long time, naturally you trust that they wont harm or manipulate you. to the extent that youd find reasons to excuse their poor behavior. hence, why shes making dumb decisions and judgements. its true that both of them are wrong BUT the husband should be absolutely blamed for selling her little sister and for doing other heinous acts. the real perpetrator is the husband who committed the actual crime. his dumb wife just needs to wake the fuck up and realize that shes rooting for the wrong team

bruh these are just delusional clown women, I’ve literally a relative whos husband made advances at me (when I was a minor) but even after showing her proof she called me a liar and said I tempered with the message, stayed with the man and loudly defend him (they have a strong bond bc they’re highschool sweethearts) all my relatives act blind and act like they’ve got amnesia and act buddy buddy with them which makes me barf and I’ve personally stopped going to family events to avoid them like Iitreally cannot stand them

its sad that it happened to you and that no one ever believed you. fortunately, i never had any experience like that. but i personally know some people who had been SAed during childhood. they said that it really affected them growing up. i hope that ur doing okay and feeling much better away from those people. mental health is priority!

She helped the husband discredit Hanekate in chapter 138, calling Hanekate cruel and a deceiver and everything, just because Hanekate had allegedly made a mistake, and NOW you think we should forgive this woman now that she herself is making a mistake? No, this woman showed ZERO tolerance for Hanekate's supposed "mistake," so now I'm not giving her any.

Yeah, I know. Never intended to express anything beyond pure personal feelings, with that one. From a "rational" standpoint, the husband should take most of the blame. But I have a personal resentment

i literally said that both of them are wrong. but why are we pinning more hate on the wife when it was literally the husband who deceived everyone? yes, shes an accomplice for encouraging hate against Hanekate. so i understand that its hard to forgive her. but again, the questions are: who sold his own wife? who left his infant to die? who portrayed themselves as a savior infront of his slave wife when his history is built on heinous crimes? it was Fenu. i hope this is not internalized misogyny bc we've seen a lot of that irl.

There is such a thing as "enablers" who help bad people get away with what they do. And that's got nothing to do with mysogyny: you said it yourself, she was an accomplice. The old guy didn't just "encourage hatred" against Hanekate, it was much more serious: he wanted Hanekate to step down, and that's something that would have left the women UNprotected, because Hanekate is the one keeping them safe. And his wife HELPED him do that. There's a limit to how much you can use ignorance as an excuse. Like the first wife's ghost said, he picked and discarded several other women before choosing her, looking for the "right" woman who would behave exactly the way he needed: like an enabler. So it's not mysogyny because the other women clearly were NOT like her

And BTW, her problem's not that she doesn't want to believe anything bad about her husband, it's how she takes him as the ultimate scale of what's right and wrong, to the point that for her even Hanekate, the old lady who protected everyone, and Horus (an effing GOD!!), are fair targets of criticism if her husband says so

Thankyou for the kind message I’m not much affected in the mental aspect but I do feel very angry whenever I see my extended family and aunt I feel so betrayed that they chose to act blind to my uncles actions and are on a friendly terms with him (considering he’s not blood related to us, my aunt is) and even though my parents is still talking terms with my extended family I’ve completely cut them off they disgust me a lot, especially my aunt and ofc her husband

Take care of yourself, girl! In my opinion you did absolutely nothing wrong, being a minor you acted smart, and you chose the better option of the few you had available to solve that situation, at that time. You were a minor, so you fought for your safety in the only way you could and knew how, and adults have to recognize that, period. That's why, even though it's kinda nice if one ever gets their extended family's understanding and validation for having done that, in my opinion you don't actually require it. You can be grateful to your younger self for doing the best that she could and that she knew... always remember that.
