I think his brother loves eric but is on a tight spot that he doesn't know what to do and needed help to. The way his big bro would tell him to go inside his room so that he won't be beaten and how he let him take a break from school knowing they cannot afford him taking a break. His brother never beats him but I guess he does say shitty/hurtful words but still he tries
I just hope that Avery is gonna slap the shit out of Jace in the future!!! I just can’t stand that guy. And I still don’t know what to think about the brother. He also seems to be having a mental problem and takes shit out at his brother…
