I think he wants to kill him regardless of his death row status for personal satisfaction. Like yea he’s gonna die anyways but he wants to be the one to do it bc he rammed a truck into his car almost killing him and stole the drive with not only Pilwons incriminating stuff on it but also his..he said he lost almost everything they had bc of the incident. Also it seems Jaeil has guys on the inside so they prob gonna kill him in prison and make it seem he killed himself in his cell or something . Bc idk how it is in Korea but typically a death row sentence doesn’t necessarily mean it’s immediate, it normally takes some time ( in the US, way too long but i digress).

Wait, I think I’m dumb, but from my understanding Jaeil’s planning on killing Daehui in prison, and making it look like suicide, but it doesn’t make sense to me bc Daehui has a red tag, that means he’s on DEATH ROW, so…??? Cuz like, if Jaeil’s planning on bailing him out, how is he going to make it look like a suicide attempt without a body? That part confuses me also bc, before official translation came out, people were saying Jaeil was going to bail Daehui but reading it officially, it just seems like he’s going go off Daehui quietly.
