I like how we both know which author I'm talking about without giving too much details. Heck I can't even blame the author for losing their braincells while writing that, I lost them just by reading few chapters.
I was so sick after reading just few chapters but then I just had to see how it ends. I was sooo disappointed. For a moment I thought the author would make the guy move on and be independant, but nope. He stays with his biggest abuser.
If the ending was gonna be that ,the least they could have done is give the poor dude his peaceful end
But nope, they had bro realize that the only person that will ever want him is his abuser and they should walk into the sunset holding hands until death do them part

Did I say hate? Oh yeah I did. I FUCKING HATE when authors choose to write a piece of shit character, and then try to back track and redeem them, but do they make the character face their behaviour, do they make them see the impact their actions had? Nooooooo. Why would they? They just make the piece of shit character go through traumatic event and then everything is fine and dandy (looking at you, specific manhwa author that made a whole side story about the abuse of the character and still måde them cannon in the end).
It's cheap writing, it's fucking disgusting and annyoing.
