Read the special dialogue. This manga portrays the struggle of a teenage pregnancy. If the author decides to write something like what you wanted (fl making up her own decision) then whats the point of doing this story, when teenagers can actually look up for it on the internet. The story has a lot more to say, from adult, the society, relationship, how a man should actually do in this kind of things.

The authour wants it to be educational, and the story by far is still on vol. 2. And the author is kindly enough to find some of gynocologist to portray the opinion of the doctors about the teen pregnancy.

And if you could look it up on the internet it say's that Teen pregnancy can be linked to mental health issues. Some possible mental health ailments that a young person could develop in direct relation to teen pregnancy include: guilt, loneliness, anxiety, depression, and discrimination. Adding the different decision of adults and her partner are leading her on more confusing.

She was clearly not aware of all the options of contraceptives, sex ed is extremely lacking in Japan. Even with all the "facts" laid out about the options, it's an extremely scary and confusing situation to be in for a teenage girl who didn't know any better. "It's just a decision", well it's a decision that very well will have a permanent effect on her life, not to mention that so far she's only known for a couple of DAYS. Have just the smallest about of heart and empathy. I didn't get frustrated with Sachi once, rather I really feel for her. Since you claim you're about the same age (15-16), I guess it's a maturity thing, since you, too, are just a kid, but I hope you grow to be wiser.

First, if you’re sachi’s age, you’re not a woman, you’re a child. But if you are her age, that partially explains why you have such an immature, self-righteous, apathetic opinion on the matter. Nobody is pretending this was the responsible thing to do, to get pregnant. This manga merely depicts the struggles a teen might go through when they have a baby. Hell, even some adults may go through this. Also, she quite literally could not have just “taken the pill.” This is why kids need to learn not to speak on matters they know nothing about. Birth control or the morning after pill is not easily accessible in Japan. Both need a prescription from a doctor. You ought to have more empathy. You are probably correct that the average Japanese student is not receiving proper sex Ed, as the topic is very taboo. People with this condescending attitude are no different than extreme pro-lifers shoving birth down people’s throats. People are allowed to experience emotions. That’s not a crime.

To add onto this. All of the volume 2 happened in one day. She confirmed her pregnancy, his mother found out, her mom acknowledged her, she got bombarded with all of her options available. How can anyone process it at all?? And like having supportive parents that too as a teen is something very rare. And which teenager is actually sure of their decisions, pregnancy and raising a child or aborting it is an adult decision, which is clearly portrayed by how confused she is. Most Asian countries function more as a society than individual, so her thinking is based on everyone rather than herself. I can’t imagine my parents being supportive or giving me an opinion at all if I got pregnant as a teen.


I wanna read something more realistic where the teen doesn’t get the support or some parents abandon them due to their so called “shame” from the society, the bf leave them be which is the most common one seen in real life
