Not all people are "calm and collected" especially if they lose everything and are possessive to what they currently have. Cirrus had long gave up on giving chances, especially on what happened to his first step-mother when he was young. I agree that what he said to her in their first meeting was uncalled for, it was rude of him to fuck off and accuse her for marrying his father for money. There's no excuse for that.
However, I can't disregard Jisu's behavior. She should've known better as the older one between them. I get her way of getting even, it's pretty effective so Cirrus could feel the concept of "losing", but her methods are way too extreme to Cirrus's childish ones. Instead of a lesson, their little competition makes Cirrus worse. She is a gaslighter and an emotional manipulator (that's probably what she's doing with Cirrus's dad), she threw away all the things that's keeping Cirrus sane in that house and now, she invaded his privacy by having an intercourse in HIS room on his bio mom's death anniversary. if you were in his position, would you be "calm and collected" too? He didn't even attacked her right away, he just menacingly asked her for the whole story, and what did she do? She provoke him further.
I'm not condoning the violence that Cirrus did, but what happened is an outburst. He was angry and people have their moments like that. I think he will reflect for what he did once he is calm.
