Yeah I've already read the prequel, but it was years ago. Also, if I'm not wrong, it was partly Damon's fault too. I can't remember everything tho.

I know this is a miscommunication between them especially from Colton ass side but I relate sm with Damon rn. He's a serious artist who's been in a slump for a while. He finally decided to exhibit & get back to his art & it's his profession/passion or livelihood in a way. As we all know his character, he is a serious person. So, I understand why he is hurting and disappointed. Putting aside his work, he actually lowered his guard for Colton trusting that he'd get the slot. If ykwim? I'd actually be mad too if I were him.
