That’s a good theory! It’s very possible since Bayan can’t feel the pain of the emperor but the emperor can. I’d reckon that if Bayan swallowed the orb first and later the emperor, she’d be able to feel the emperor’s pain.
Although the emperor did worry about getting tattoo because he thinks his “pain” will be transmitted to Bayan
I wonder if there's any significance to the order of them swallowing the orbs? Her mother insisted that Dhan must swallow it first before Bayan, but that wasn't the case. I wonder if that's the reason why Dhan can feel her pain but Bayan remains oblivious to it?
