Yupss. I get that they are uninterested but can't the father at least discuss it with them first. Likeee... You know, those two has been with him for so many years soo yeaaah. Maybe discuss it . But no after gaining a "daughter" he suddenly make a decision to make her his heir. Like whyy???? It's pretty clear that there is a favoritism in there. Though in this set up brother/s usually never get jealous and just automatically dote on her buuut I don't know ... I feel like their feelings are always discarded in this type of stories. But I love this story. Just wondering if there will actually be a manhwa/hua that treats their children equally without being bias. I mean that'd be cool. Anyways this is just me putting my own ideals in these stories knowing that they are fictional.

Rather than favoritism, I think it's because of her background. It was mentioned before that their family got their position because of a dragon, both of his sons are uninterested, and he found a child who is part dragon and possibly holds the bloodline of their family as well. Imo it makes perfect sense for her to be the primary successor since her lineage would be the highest
