fr fian’s rudeness to Philip for no reason during their first meeting (when he was a beat up slave too) really annoyed me. I like how rosalyn was straight up with her feelings and told MC.
Now her tendency to use capable people without consideration for them on the other hand…
Yes, I agree and that's definitely not right but that's what she has grown up watching. She was legit a child and a slave ,she mentioned Philip's wishes and how the MC even said she was okay with everything so she ended up growing with the idea that using people is okay if they are okay with being used.
Basically she doesn't have any good example in her life to know better ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Maybe we can se some character development in future.
Can't believe people are hating on Rosalyn. Guess hating on a women is easy and comes naturally to people even when they did exactly what the male characters did in the story. Specially towards women who have a backbone and are ambitious.
Like fian was openly pissed at Philip for even talking to lyla because he has a crush on her and everyone liked his "Cute jealousy" but when a women does it she is a bitch.
Philips all three wishes were more outrageous than stealing some ledgers. Fight slave trader and risking lives, bank and even a mine? C'mon
Also it was her plan and courage to run away from slave traders, if she never did that Philip wouldn't be what he is today. Lyla did helped them and she is greatful to her but that doesn't mean she should give up on her years of crush without even putting a fight.
It's really not that deep, Lyla and Rosalyn have interesting dynamic. It's actually fun to read. Philip should end up with Rosalyn as Lyla and Fian are end game.
