This actually felt like it was too easy. It needed more depth and struggle to the characters, mainly because the seme's reason for saying they didn’t love the uke anymore was so they wouldn’t suffer when the seme left to study in Tokyo.
fair point, however the manga failed to depict it that way and successfully convey the opposite. but your perspective is agreeable nonetheless.
