?? no the abuse will stick with her until the day she dies. a few months of happiness won't over come a lifetime of abuse. She might learn to heal, and accept love, but for the moment at least, it isn't happening. She'll keep wondering "is he going to hit me" "is he going to abandon me" until she can confront her father (idk if this made sense)

and that's why she needs a therapist not a magician, i think they just both lack communication and honestly this time im on riftan's side because i have experienced real people die infront of my face and it's really traumatic, i kind of get what he is saying (though I don't agree with him babying her) when someone you love dies infront of you, anything in this world won't matter you will say what you want to say even if it hurts the other person. Im just saying this because it literally happened to me, If that was me I'd be saying worst things than riftan has ever have trust me, if you were in that situation you will do the samw too.
