Seriously, the novel is so unique because of this. I’ve never read anything that went so quickly back and forth between the most depraved sex scenes and the most awesome horror action scenes. Gave me whiplash.

i read the novel and its funny how one sec its s ex and then suddenly the world is collapsing, then we are back to more s ex and then monsters appear like GIVE HIM A BREAK GODDAMN IT. Also i understand why everyone loves Chan, cause prob he seems more sane compared to the others
