What I mean is that the pearls were a wasted plot point bc they weren't used in their full potential, the pearls could have been substituted by something without the supernatural element or left out and the story could still make sense as Jooha being sold to repay the debt. The pearls were irrelevant bc questions about them were left unanswered and no longer mattered by the end. I don't know why you're so pressed about my comment tho, clearly the world building was lacking at the last part and the conflicts weren't well developed ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I agree. The author just brushed over the main point, that this guy produces real actual pearls when he ejaculates. So it went from a potential fantasy/supernatural element to only dark/romance/thriller. I mean it’s not an “normal “ thing, so why not add explanation to the actual theme? Also in chapter 90, when Jooha makes reference to the vase of pearls, he says ‘what does this got to do with me anyways’. So did he lose the ability? I’m assuming so, but how? Why doesn’t “pearl boy” produce pearls anymore?
Why 'pearl' was in the title when it ended up being irrelevant? The story could do without them and be the same! The last part of the story and especially the ending were so rushed, it's a shame when it was going so well before. Some plot points were forgotten and the solutions were unfulfilling. At least we got cute moments and Jooha and Dooshik were a lovely couple. I hope we get some side stories to mend this, though I'm not sure how fond the author is of the story judging by how she finished it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
