soft spot? Thats probably part of the reason but not acknowledging your traumatic experiences were infact traumatic is a trauma response. Its a coping mechanism your brain creates to protect yourself from the mental anguish acknowledging/realising could do to you. Taekyung doesn't really have control over that, but yeah he has a soft spot which is probably a little more linked to guilt and a sense responsibility to Heeseo cause of his mom.
