i was thinking the same thing. When it comes to being referred to as “monkeys” its usually towards us black folk…what the hell is the author on
Yeah and the fact that I understand trying to make it aware that other poc can be racist but just make it it seem like “all” the black people being seen in this book which is literally just the two chapters and all of them are racist is very very disturbing.
Idk how to feel about this, its a bad take on how to deal with racism and making it seem like its just black people who are racist to asian people are weird…even the whole monkey thing especially knowing when racists people call someone monkey its usually referring to black people (⊙…⊙ )
