It’s basically a “friends with benefits” sort of thing but shin doesn’t see Jake as a friend, he sees him as more of a customer. Jake is pretending to be in the gang but he’s actual an agent and it seems like he wants to take things further with shin but knows that once he tells shin the truth shin probably won’t want anything to do with him. But their relationship has grown a lot so who knows
I don't think that Shin only sees Jake as a customer. I'd say that he is quite attached to Jake nowadays. But I def do agree that Jake knows telling Shin he isn't in fact a gang member will bring more trouble that they can handle
If you go back to chapter 58 you will see Jake in a meeting with his CIA boss and co workers, including Caesar who is also undercover.He’s also had previous scenes right bf the end of season 1 with one of his co workers who does surveillance from a food truck.
Am i the only one that doesn't understand the plot?. I read a comment that said Jake's a secret CIA agent. WHAT. I DIDN'T GET THAT AT ALL. Also, what is their relationship, do they love each other?. I've never felt so left behind. Is it the language barrier since English isn't my first language? I'm so lost.
