Well, yeah xD i thought at first the author didnt have any in his sleeves, afterall in japanese culture, i think they tend to follow what trends. (Like if it trends, thats means its profitable to do works with the same concept or related backbone) Kabaneri for example is like another world of attack on titan and also mangas with a lot of fanservice on it that it covered the plot. I think im happy with this. Now im wondering if they will ever try to go over that wall..

Well, I was hoping for something more complex. Like perhaps there are different types of humans and their reason for fighting was actually something for the greater good of humanity and erens people were in the wrong all along. Basically, more fantasy. This political explanation the author came up with does not fit the theme of the series at all. Your sci-fi cliche would have been more fitting tbh
