There's definitely the thrill aspect but especially for a lot of toxicly masculine people, it also has to do with power, feeling like you're in control over multiple people both physically and mentally by having multiple partners
why do ppl cheat on their partners while they're still in a relationship? like, break up with them if you're not interested and then go date someone else?? is it the thrill of doing something forbidden or what?!
