Anyway, I love Gojo, one of my favourite characters. Was there with everyone grieving over his death and still am. But I also think that just because it was so impactful (not only to the readers but probably to the characters of the manga too) that it needed to happen. Since the strongest is gone, some people will need to become stronger. This story is not about Gojo, it's about Yuji.

Peoples argument of why Gojo shouldn't have died is because it wasn't deserved, as if deaths always happen due to precedented actions? Death is the most unpredictable yet inevitable thing.
This is fiction, villainous characters die and even the kindest ones do to. You may like it or not, but especially in the shounen genre, it oftens is a factor that moves the plot. It'd be either towards - revenge, redemption, celebration, etc.. And I think, the event of chapter 236, Gojo's death, is one of those plot moving factors. Look i love gojo as much
