exactly! i think deeta making the effort to fix their friendship kinda made me expect more humane actions/words from ref but really he's beyond saving. ref is vile in general who has an odd softness(barely) towards deeta but doesn't mean he'll be the least bit considerate so yeahhh why was i so appalled by his family remark after all his done
like ofc ref is gonna be insensitive and drop that "unlike you i have a family" comment... why am i expecting a literal psychopathic murderer cannibal to be compassionate of someone's feelings
