So what happened is Akashi sr decide to catch a train due his car breaking down. He remembered the first time he tried, during Seijuro and Kuroko’s middle school days. It was new experience for him as he’s always been driven around in his car. When he got to the train station, he was having some problems on how to get a ticket and stuff. Enter Kuroko, an angel according to Akashi sr, he asked an attendant on how to get ticket and showed Akashi sr how to use a transportation card, similar to Oyster card in London. Akashi sr was fascinated by this simple payment method and how u can travel to so many places in Japan. He went to new places and experienced stuff he’s not used to as a rich CEO.
Akashi Sr wanted to reveal his new fascination to his son, talking about how great it is, the only problem is that he has constantly check how much balance is left in his card. Seijuro while confused, revealed to his dad that there’s a new card system where u can automatically top it up using ur card (I’m guessing there’s an app or something to use to top up). Once again Akashi Sr was amazed. He wanted to thank Kuroko but he never got his name and his workers could not find him (not surprising since Kuroko has little to no presence and can be hard to find). So he decided to ask Seijuro to find him. Told him that Kuroko was the type angel that his wife and Seijuro’s mum was. He annoyed at this (he probably thought his dad was trying to set him up with some girl from a powerful family that benefit the Akashi family).
While Seijuro was at a playground thinking over what his dad was told him, he met with Kuroko. After talking to Kuroko and Kuroko cheering him up, Seijuro realised that Kuroko might be the angel his dad was referring to. He introduced Kuroko to Akashi sr, though he was kind regretting it. As Akashi sr thanking Kuroko for helping, kuroko realised that Akashi sr was man he helped a while back, he introduced himself.
Akashi Sr apologised to Seijuro for how treated Seijuro after he lost the wintercup and said how proud of him he is. He than turned to Kuroko and asked him to please look after his son. Kuroko has no problem as Seijuro is one of his friend. Of course Akashi Sr decided to play matchmaker and asked Kuroko to call him father-in-law. Akashi obviously told him to knock it off since they’re not dating YET.
