How is the ex-wife losing?? Sure you can feel for her bc she was stuck in a situation that was miserable for her but let’s not forget she choose it, as well. But she also choose to leave it. Let’s not also forget that only through experiencing do we learn what is and isn’t right for us. I won’t deny tho that men have it significantly easier in these family dynamics bc most of the work is unanimously pushed onto the women, but in this situation, Kuma has the kids full-time. Meaning, the ex-wife, who learned she hates the stay at home wife life, doesn’t have to care for the kids full time. She got the better end of the stick. Don’t you think??
Anyone else feel bad for kuma's wife ?
Kuma worked and earned for them, got his job through his wife's connections, his mind revolved around meeting aki again ( aki was always the main character in his life ) , he got to rediscover himself and got to do what he really wanted to do, he wrote a book and was able to keep it right next to akio's. He had kids with whom he could spend time with. He had his individuality.
On the other hand, it seems he just got married because it was the right time. And just happened to have kids...he was still doing what he did even after they came into the picture. It seemed like it was another day for him. Whereas his wife was a housewife who stayed home for the kids and eventually got miserable enough to divorce and leave behind her kids....kuma got kids to take care of and he cared for them, but that time of married life brought kuma his kids whereas it was basically a meaningless time for his wife and she had everything to loose.
