Well i just read it somewhere before I don't know if it is true or what, but from what I remember, they said "yaoi" mostly have r*pe, abuse, torture etc in their story, that's why I'm not really shocked cause it's kind of normal in the "yaoi" genre and i always ready my mind when I read new yaoi cause they always have the worst start up, so if you want to read fluffy story go to the shounen ai section but there are still some dark stories in it.. but anyways, there are plenty of good yaoi story out there with no r*pe or ab*se, maybe you just started in the wrong one but if you read more, there's a lot out there with a good story and drawing, they're mostly in a list of someone just check the tags

Rape is a form of sexual assault. However, not all forms of sexual assault will be considered rape.
Now, tell me saying: Dan was Sexually Assaulted by his boss, JK was Sexually Assaulted by his x jinx buddy, and Dan was Sexually Assaulted not rape by JK makes it forgiving or your half cocked notion? It was illogical.
