a redemption arc is just absolutely impossible at this point. there is nothing in this world that could ever make dan forgiving jky make sense. but i know that’s exactly what the author is gonna try to do and that’s just bad writing imo.
the way the actor reacted to that scene made me feel better about him. i mean i would have started screaming and taken dans headphones off and tried to get him out even if i was beat to death but that’s not actually realistic lol. but my (probably) false hope is up that he’s going to at least try to help dan get out. an easy way would be to just pay off everything jky gave dan and everything else dan would need, it’s not like he doesnt have the money to do so. but dan would also have to get over being a good helpful person constantly and stop helping jky with his jinx, i just know he would feel guilty regardless of what jky did.
