Ok I get what you're saying, but I don't find FL disgusting cause she's struggling to get the only thing she ever loved back. Even though she died quite into her older years but in all that time she never learned what it feels like to be loved. She lived her life in that toxic environment where she was downright psychologically abused by her inlaws and ignored by her husband. In all that despair her daughter was the only person who gave her that sense of fulfilment and happiness.

And when she came back, she started to befriend ML. She didn't have the intentions of enchanting him, they both gradually grew fond of each other. I too feel very frustrated at how she's rejecting him, but to the FL her daughter is someone who has shown her love and she knows how that affection feels. But everything about love and ML is new, in her head she doesn't have the guarantee that ML will love her or could ever measure up to how precious her daughter was to her. Don't get me wrong, as a read I want to go into the webtoon and just shake some sense into the FL. Now that she has realized that her daughter "sacrificed" herself to give her mom a second chance, she's torn between her as a parent who wants their precious child back no matter how much she suffered and the fact that if she does choose her own happiness she'll never get to see her again. It's tough, If I were in her shoes I wouldn't know what I'd do.


The other ladies only took interest in the ML cause of his title. And you can't deny that. In my opinion they need to have a long conversation where they're honest.
