There are already context clues you can pick up on like how he is approaching this princess and saying how somethings are not changing.
Idk why but the fact she raised him and is now romancing him just doesn't sit right with me... tbh 8 years of difference isn't much when they are both consenting adults, BUT STILL At the start it was like the ML was Rein and Dietrich's son you know? And currently in the story (chapter 43 for me) they seem SO FUCKED UP IN THE HEAD. #－.－)
