why do i feel like this story is going to go into their college years lol

Oohh that'd be awesome!! But i feel like it will end during their third year/graduation, and maybe extra chapters about their college/adult life!

I welcome it but if it ends earlier that's cool too.

since it's a coming of age story i think the ending will be their graduation tbh (im not ready, just thinking about it ending is already making me cry). but there will be a timeskip and show a bit of their college life
