Which part? The counterfeit check part? Basically the bank dude was trying to explain the potential problem the check could present in the future. He said that when they receive a check, the bank releases the money first and then do a review of the checks later. What this means is that if the counterfeit check was so good that it got approved, this means that there could potentially be more fake checks in the future. they are basically going to lose a lot of money if they don’t find out where the fake checks are coming from since they don’t have a way to recover the money that they have already released. He wants the patriarch to send out an investigation team to look for the source. Vieze is being a dumbass and thinks one check isn’t a big issue. Even if it wasn’t a big issue, he should’ve still looked into it. Instead he wants to wait until it’s a BIGGER problem to fix it.

So from what I understood the bank guy was saying that they use checks to keep money, instead of like keeping stacks of cash around? And so when they were going through the checks for record & bank keeping that come in from various places, someone used a fake one. And the issue is the fake one has already been turned into real money, I’m thinking by whoever made it. And so basically the family has been scammed by someone lol. Someone brought a fake check and got real money by exchanging it with the bank. Later the bank found that check was fake but they don't know the culprit. So, the banker said to the head it could become a huge issue as more fake checks can be deposited as they can't identify a fake check on the spot.
