Well, it's more about her behavior in this instance, not his, how she reacts to his words and actions. And yeah, I personally just don't like plotlines with brainwashing in general (although it works here, so that's good).
Fair point if you don't like her reactions, I think she has a good balance since she isn't madly in love with him at this point, just a slight crush on her favorite character from a book which is relatable
"I don't care that Killian was brainwashed" tbh I think Killian being brainwashed is the only thing I would accept to excuse his behaviour. He's at the mercy of his creator, it's not just "brainwash", he has no control over himself at all. How do you just shake something like that off???
