Now, what you said isn't untrue, but you could've worded it better so it doesn't end up being so harsh on the poor guy.
They put much thought and effort into it and that's appreciated, but I also think that they should take this opportunity and reach out to translation teams or a freelance translator and proof reader

I meant working together with them like a collab or something.
Your translation isn't bad, but proper typesetting goes a long way. Also a proofreader is really important as one can get lost in their own translation and might not even realise if something is worded weird.
Not wrong, but weird. Especially idioms and such that don't make perfect sense in other languages.
And I think you did a fantastic job for your first work, definitely better than others starting out. But you'd improve a lot with proper guidance! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

oh idm collab or however, some people already msged me about cleaning specifically which i think will help a lot
yeah i def looked back at it and i think i just needed to take more time w it lol, i rushed it a bit since it was like 5 am and i wanted to finish thats why i wont rush the next one. ty for the advice :)) !!!

Yeah, I can understand Japanese but that's beside the point here. I don't have X-ray vision, obviously I don't know what the characters are saying in the original language through the text (though I can make assumptions here and there since I know how mtl tends to interpret certain phrases) . My biggest problem with this translation was the fact that it's barely coherent. It's terrible. Just try to read some of the dialogue out loud and tell me that it sounds like the way people talk. You could also reread the official tl and reread your chapter again to get a feel of how unnatural and disjointed it is.
Another problem is the fact that if you don't know either languages (jp and en or both) using multiple machine translation tools make things worse because you can't catch where the machine fucks up. And yes, it does fuck up a lot of time. Trust me, I've been there and have caught many many problems exactly because I knew certain parts were suspicious.
If you're anime fan in general and still want to continue translating, my advice would be to look at google translate's romaji output

picious to you.
Just as an addition, I say this with the compassion I left out in my original comment, the phrase is "I couldn't care less". As in, you give so little shit that you can't go lower.
I won't mention typesetting/cleaning because those are very hard

Whoops, I thought I woulf be able to edit the weird formatting my phone did

Anyway, if you don't want to go through this much effort and want to post pure mtl instead, there's nothing more I can say.
I won't lose anything by waiting for the official translation to continue.

i know english. im genuinely okay with people not wanting to read my translation. i have basic japanese understanding thats exactly why i even mentioned i know 5 languages. i do Not need someone passive aggressively trying to fix my english when its literally my technically first language . as i said before i will genuinely post the official translation when itll come out or if a translation team wants it. i just do not like how u clearly assumed because i know 5 languages english is not my first or i dont know wtf im saying. girl its understandable maybe not the best but if you know how tf to read a book u can understand
Damn, used 4 different translators just to end up with a shitty translation in the end. You could've saved yourself the trouble and used only 1 translator to get the same mtl translation.
If you guys don't know the language, just wait until the official sites pick up the story.
