Maybe it is what you are saying. But most of the time the artists makes the uke poor and helpless (not all comics though) and the seme rich and powerful(again not all comics). The seme is either rich or is secretly rich who looks poor since he is working at a convenience store or is a part timer

Oh yeah, the common trope. But I do think he just enjoys working for his RPG and he's a student too right? Could be one of his father's challenge to humble him down. Though, well, let's wait and see to read what their actual backstories are.
