Anyways, soulmate/destined person is a personal favorite of mine. I love it when even fate wants the couple together or when they go against fate itself to choose one another. Love love love it when no matter what, it's them against the world.
There's conflict when one of them gets a start early and the age gap is an issue. Good thing our ml ain't human but a dragon instead. The only reason he's a kid right now is because that's the first thing he saw. I bet he's gonna grow up so fast when he realizes he ain't an actual child. Think about it, if he wasn't born from a dying river, he would have had a dragon body not a human child's. He's basically a deity, not subject to human rules and morality.
