You’re so right. I’ve read quite a number but still don’t understand why the sexual assault is forgiven so often and so easily with the victim ending up with up wither abuser.

why can't we ever get a story with an equal power/personality dynamic? be it the seme or the uke, one is always written to be a nasty insufferable asshole and one is simply a pushover doormat loser type. Not to mention there's almost always some sort of sexual assault or harassment that's somehow either easily forgiven or just brushed off as nothing. I've read so few stories where there's balance in the relationship, and actual accountability.
