I hate the idea that Jake kept Gren alive just for him to make a point so Shin can see by himself how Gren is a mess and how Jake was right about him. I thought he spared his life for Shin's sake because Gren is his 'family'. And I cherished the idea that Jake even accepted to put his whole secret mission and his life in danger for that! He did just that but it seems for the wrong reasons. Maybe I am wrong but that's what he clarified in his discussion with Shin in this chapter, right?!?!
It's annoying how Jake is always right and how he is able to anticipate every single detail in both his personal and professional life. It drives me crazy lol. And I can see it coming from miles away how things are about to blow up for him. Something won't go as planned and it's gonna be the cliffhanger of the season. There have been many hints from the author regarding things going surprisingly wrong and unexpected for him in the last chapters. Especially that conversation with Shin in the car when Shin told him to be careful cause things could go down any moment and he'll be there for him anyways I just hope the cliffhanger won't be Shin being hurt or kidnapped or something like this. Although the idea of seeing Jake going WILD in the next season to get back Shin is very appealing
