I fully agree with you but I also thought of a couple of other scenarios.
1. She really is just stupidly optimistic
2. She's also from "the real world" and is playing it our as the heroine is supposed to, but is super laissez-faire about everything cause she knows she's supposed to win no matter what

I think what would be cool is she switched egos/mind with a modern girl who played right as she enters the academy. Like they could have this “…you aren’t Liz” skin walker plot twist and it would explain why Alecia’s brothers are actually asses rn
i'm guessing liz isn't an innocent dumb saintess. even alicia is wondering why liz is acting that way as well. and i'm guessing the "suitors" liz has around her is like in some spell. cuz they be dumb and blind not to see the truth.
but i guess that's just my take after reading ch 12.
