
Unfortunately this is actually coming into western media too, if you look at tiktok there’s a lot of SA and Rape that’s being excused for dark romance and the ML raped the FL multiple times but it’s getting excused for “dark romance” when that’s not even romance. But everyone’s calling him the standard and I’m seeing teenagers and pre-teens fawn over the book and want it in real life. Then at the end she falls in love with her rapist and they call them goals because he did that to her out of love. All this is becoming really normalized in the west too expect it’s like Manwha and novels flipped, now we have good manwhas and comics (not like this) that actually have good stories and less rape and SA but books have more of it. It’s all mixed up.
Don't you guys think rape , sexual assault, taking no consent,abuse, or not taking no seriously is kinda generalized in Korean manhnwas?
Or is it just me ?
