With the "religious and realistic" setting (this was the translator's ridiculous defense), two MCs were being passionately homophobic and the pacing of the novel was so... slow that it felt like my patience was being tested... But the manhwa crew skipped those points and created miracles. I appreciate them so much.

Manhwa is exactly the same as novel but with many cut parts. The religious parts got tamed. Manhwa rushed the story to make up for the slowpace novel but it doesn't do the emotions and reasonings of the characters justice. I wouldn't say the manhwa crew created a miracle but at least they still follow the novel and also remove the controversial stuff from the novel.

That doesn't make "exactly the same" doesn't it. I think it does WAY better justice than the novel because the manhwa really cleans the story from ALL that uncomfortable and unnecessary mumbo-jumbo. When you swipe of that viscous writing, FL suddenly becomes someone who can be understood.
Also, your writing pattern is awfully similar and I see that you just opened this account Cider-chan ;>

They're literally lines taken from the novel and if you think it's mumble jumble then I guess you've just nvr read streams of consciousness writing. I don't think the FL is better understood by readers either. Just look at how many comments think she's still in love with the painter, or how many ppl think she was forced into arranged marriage with the prince, or even why FL chose ML? If ppl think she's so traumatic by the prince, why would she even chose a guy who sleeps around? The novel explain all that better. The manhwa left them all out and everyone just making assumptions of her character. What you think you understood of FL is not rly understanding her. What even cause her to regress?

Also does it even make sense with the whole s1 where FL kept talking badly about ML and somehow s2 start and now she's feeling sorry for him and blushing? The novel shows the progression better. Manhwa cut a bunch of scenes where FL was smiling and laughing at ML's antics. She felt he's been an easygoing and nice guy from the beginning in the novel but they were cut in the manhwa. Her sudden change in the manhwa is sudden and random when the manhwa cut out the romantic development of the characters from the novel. There were scenes where He jokes with her, where he worries about her eating habits, and also a scene where FL had a conversation with a servant that was hypocrital to her own behaviour and view. The whole story is about the ML and FL's love story and they can't even show their development in s1 and you think that's doing it justice?

We're talking about a story where FL goes thru character development bc she hated herself, her life, and having guilt and ML made her love herself, want to feel love, want to be happy. FL in the manhwa isn't going to show much change from her original character bc they can't even show her character properly in the manhwa. She was arrogant and cold. She didn't care about a lot of ppl. Even in the beginning she talk about how she nvr even care about Raul in other lifetime, but since moving there, she start to think about Raul and her other servants and ppl ignore that in the manhwa and think she's just cold bc of trauma. She became nicer and open up. She had a huge misunderstanding of ML in the beginning of the novel bc she always keep calling him a playboy and as the story progress, she slowly finds out most things were misunderstood. Seeing how he live in Calztela, then Raul telling her his lifestyle, and later she'll also find out Oscar was the one who sent women to rape him and having him have rumors that made him as a playboy. She realize she was all wrong. But things in the manhwa doesn't hit the same bc when FL finds out his lifestyle, or Raul talking about his lifestyle, no one think much of it. The mumbo jumbo in the novel rly show how FL felt about it instead of it being just a random thing ppl forget when reading the manhwa.

Yeah, I opened an account bc I see so many ppl misunderstanding characters that you so think the manhwa is doing so much justice with. But I'm not going to complain about the art bc at least I do know the artist is a huge fan of the novel too and I loved all their fanart when they were reading the novel. They'll do the art justice at least.

Oh, you just answered my doubts... Hello again translator! I see that your unhealthy obsession didn't tire you out. Sorry but you are just losing time explaining, nobody's going to read all that, well, maybe 1 person who asked about the novel.
About the people who're asking stupid questions: You would be impressed by how many are here does suffer from the absence of deduction. I don't think you can evaluate the manhwa like that.
Ofc the artist going to be a fan since they're going to work on it for years. (We can see many "not-a-fan" artists' quality of work in other stories... That's why most of the manhwa genre do worse than novels.) And definitely, that's the reason they're good at bettering this story. Can you imagine they're adapting the novel accurately? Image then what would the commenters say and how would the average score drop significantly.

I'm not the tler. There are ppl who are upset with the manhwa. If ppl don't know what they're missing ofc they think the manhwa is fine but I read the novel and the spoilers so I know what they cut out and not happy with it. They don't even got to adapt the manhwa accurately but they cut out parts that show why ML is good for FL. The manhwa is just trying to make Ines all good and why are they trying to make it seem like she still love the painter when she don't. Not all artist are fans of the novel they adapt. This artist was a fan before they even drew for the manhwa. The author asked them to do the manhwa bc the artist drew the author a fanart when the novel ended.
Gosh, I hated the book but I'm enjoying this SO FCKING MUCH... The art is gorgeous and all the problematic stuff in the novel is covered. It slowly entered my favorites list and I just can't wait for more.
