I read somewhere in China they used to bind women's feet whole time called "foot binders" to give them Lotus like shape.
Which was considered to be the most beautiful feet among women. I forgot which king's era that was.
But if I'm being honest those feet were ugly as hell , women with those type of feet can't even walk properly.

Ohh the old history, i remember watching that in documentary on YouTube long ago. I feel hurt for those people though. I think it's related to beauty standard in the past instead of judging face, they look at the smallest feet ( child size) and considered the prettiest.
