Well, maybe it's partly because I'm reading another webtoon now (What lies at the end) and the supposed uke is a real tough badass there, but I don't like that Kyon lets himself be treated like a shit... I'm not against asshole semes and I even like them, but not in combination with weak uke with low self-esteem. It's painful to read, seriously.

Unfortunately, I can see why somebody downvoted your post, although it is a surprise on here. I like Kyon and Tae Min, fyi. I AM against asshole semes. And most bdsm people are, too. Because that gives a pass to rape. Which is the opposite of what the bdsm community is about, which is, in turn... consent. And you're just pushing the responsibility onto Kyon for Lucaon's behavior. Something ELSE the bdsm community opposes. They prefer the dominant partner take responsibility for their actions. Because anything else is just glorifying of abuse. Essentially, what I see you doing here is expressing regret for the seme getting caught and, thus, saying that you like asshole semes not matter what you say to the contrary. Kthxbai.

I see that I was misunderstood. I like asshole semes not for their actions, but because they're usually more interesting as characters. It's such as 'liking' villains, for example Johan Liebert in 'Monster' or Hisoka in 'Hunter x Hunter'. As for the rest of your statement, I don't understand why are you talking about bdsm? The relationship in this manga has nothing to do with bdsm, because as you said, dom should take responsibility for his actions (and also has a respect for his sub as a human being). If Kyon was a sub and Lucaon was a dom, I would feel sorry for him because he choose a wrong person to submit. I would feel sorry for him, because his trust was failed. But it's not bdsm story and there is no this type of agreement between them (all the more safeword). That's why I don't feel anything but irritation. I think that treating this webtoon as a bdsm story is a bad joke. Also, I'm not pushing responsibility for Lucaon's behaviour onto Kyon. It's not his fault that Lucaon has mental issues. But as I said, I do think he's weak - he knows that Lucaon doesn't love or respect him, but he lets him do everything he wants. I just don't understand why he lets himself being used by someone like that, who doesn't deserve his submission and love. That's all.
