Agreed, there are a bunch of yaoi stories where the ML is typically BI. However I wouldn’t overthink it tbh, if it’s yaoi everyone knows the Ml and mc are going to end up together. Side characters and the cast can legit be any sexuality they want and I won’t be bothered. Also lowkey, who cares if there’s a bisexual category. Like legit in the end of every story, there’s only going to be 1 couple unless it’s a poly. So therefore even if let’s say the mc likes a girl and a boy, they’ll only end up with one therefore resulting in only smut scenes with that specific person they end up with. Unless you want the mc to be played or be a player with another female or the person opposite of gender, it won’t be a very good reason to have a bisexual tab with smut included. Not sure if my point here is legit understood because even I had a stroke writing and comprehending what you were trying to point out, but a bisexual tab isn’t really necessary is what I’m pointing at. Don’t murder me just my opinion, I support lgbtq and lowkey that’s why I read this stuff
I totally get ur point but i still believe people should be allowed to voice their opinion about this. I also agree that this is still yaoi tho! The lack of a „bi“ genre is something I didn’t really think about (I’m bi, but more attracted to males).
The thing that REALLY icks me is that sex with women in BL is usually used as something to ”shock” the reader. It’s not something most BL fans would wanna see - it’s more likely used to entice some kind of reaction. Which just grosses me out ….
Then those parts can be skipped. Did it really have to be made such a big deal out of? Those people (not you) were sounding just as intolerant as any anti LGBTQ person. Eww, straight sex! People don't like straight sex, I get it, but they didn't need to be so insulting about it. One person literally went on a rant about who anyone who said it wasn't a big deal or called them dramatic should go DIE. There is a difference between expressing an opinion and being offensive and rude.
Not to mention, in this specific story, the blond dude himself is a little Cray Cray and loves to play with people. The shock factor of sleeping with a woman in front of the other ML actually fits the narrative of the story.

For all those people saying this story is yaoi and there shouldn't be even one straight scene or a threesome with a woman, then in what category should bisexual stories be placed in? Can't be a straight story because the two main characters are men who sleep together and end up together. They can't be yuri because it's not two women doing anything. And last time I checked, there is no "bisexual" category. ONE straight scene or
threesome with a woman doesn't mean this story isn't yaoi. Besides, there are plenty of stories where one of the characters is bi instead of gay and we have seen them have sex with other men that are not the main character. If the ML is bi, then why only show them having sex with men? I feel like that is discriminatory against bisexuals , specially since they don't get their own category.
