Grea comment! Just wanted to say that "transgenderism" is not really a good expression and it's better to just use other words to talk about trans people.

This chapter wasn't exactly handled in the BEST way, the way they kept speculating who was trans based on rumors was very insensitive, but I commend the author for making things right at the end. My best guess is that it was meant to be sort of like a stepping stone to get to that point, because the character's appearance was censored, as if to say it doesn't matter how they look like.
Shida (the author) has featured quite a bit of feminist and progressive perspectives in her work so I'm actually proud of her for being able to talk about transgenderism and make it seem natural, especially considering she's korean and it's barely ever portrayed in their media. I don't really read this manhwa anymore since the whole sleeping around with other people isn't really my thing, but like c'mon, they're sex workers, it's their profession, it's completely reasonable. That being said I also like how Ms. Shida incorporated these kinds of sex-positive elements, it's refreshing and I really like that she's not afraid to showcase these things in her work.
