There's no shounen ai of this specific caliber that I've ever come across. The complex dynamic between Cirrus and Skylar is something very new. Cirrus chases Skylar and doesn't know how to act but then instead of being oblivious about it like characters in other BL stories, Skylar KNOWS exactly what's going on and perhaps even enjoys it. Plus, even though Cirrus looks like the dominant one, both he and Skylar can be seen as both submissive and dominant at the same time.

Maybe Semantic Error? Only because the main characters in that manhwa have intelligent conversations and an interesting relationship, especially if you want to read something different and fresh, something that tries to break the BL stereotype. Doesn't have as much angst but the characters are very well written.

The messiness of their relationship somewhat reminds me of The Beast Must Die. It’s very dark tho but the story is top tier. Thread carefully if you’ll try it.

Suree. But again, it has a lot of trigger warnings so really, be careful when you read. Personally, tho, it’s really good. one of the best out there, plot-wise.
