Personally I do have issues with rapist turned lover troupes but there are a lot of positive comments despite that?
I think it’s definitely worth the read, if only for the art alone lol I mean, it is a rapist to lover’s trope, so keep that in mind, but this is one of the only things I’ve read where the gong actually realizes what he did was horrible, he only has himself to blame and he can’t expect anything, not even kindness, from the uke. I don’t know how the author will pull it together (I swear whenever I praise something they f it up the next day lol) but coupled with the Uke’s backstory, etc there’s a lot of room for nuance and subtext.
Okay. Guess I’ll wait for it to end. I don’t want to wait through every chapter when the actual redemption has just started.
