after reading some spoiler, I take back my stances. penelope is harsh with eclise. she give him a fake hope
fr and also imo there was always a power imbalance in their relationship so she was his 'saviour' in his eyes. even tho her intention was just to use him to get out of the game
I understand where people coming from that they felt bad for eclise but imo he's the one who has super unhealthy obsession towards penelope. there's limit that penelope can do as a master and it's pretty common to hv master that aren't paticularly in heart with you. all eclise want was to manipulate penelope as his, which could be pretty bad
