The names are changed for legal purposes. They do represent the true brand name, no knock offs. Previously Manga artists have gotten into legal trouble with name branding in their works. There was this time with New York Times that was really messy. The Manga-ka had featured an exact likeness of a front page of that newspaper in their work and they got sent a C&D warning.
I always laugh so hard at the knock off brands names on clothes and stuff , it looks like he's broke when there's a chance to get a team black jersey he gave away that too
