YES. There was another MC like this and I didn't like it lol. I understand feeling anxious and uneasy but it would be better they stayed silent about it than assume everything by confronting the persons if you understand what im trying to say
YES!!!!! Agree 100% I don’t like it when the authors do this crap. I just can’t see it happening in real life too. As humans, if we make a mistake or hurt someone we like (even as a friend), we always try to explain ourselves not keep quiet and hope it goes away. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Not everyone thinks this way tho some ppl dont grow up in healthy environments, experience trauma, and/or are just neurodivergent. I'm not saying he's excused for acting/thinking that way, since it does lead to misunderstandings, but I can see where he's coming from and can easily see it (and have seen it) happen irl
Also, personally, I like it when authors don't have strong minded main characters, not everyone is like that and some ppl need to grow and mature before they can get there so it's nice seeing the process, but everyone has their own preferences in their consumed media hahaha
This. He literally lot his entire family when he was young, his uncle has essentially pumped him out. And he has never had anyone take him serious in a relationship. He clearly has confidence issues and is used to assuming things are on the worse end of the spectrum because those are the cards he’s been dealt for the majority of his life. I get why he’s pretty doubtful about everything.
I kind of dislike the MC but really like the ML! He cares so much for MC while the MC just kinds of crap in his head and something say anything.
