I'm no writer so there's holes, but at least it'd be something interesting instead of "I took a pic of your O-face" for the 9,000th time.
There's no thrill or any sort of emotional invocation outside of "ugh, this again?"
Can we at least get blackmail with a twist?
Like, the victim actually managing to delete the blackmail material without the abuser noticing, but instead of being like "HAH! YOU AIN'T GOT SHIT ON ME NOW!!" they continue to still be under the blackmailing.
BUT the abuser actually /has/ noticed that the material is gone but they are also aware of the fact that the victim is pretending to not know and still do everything that is being demanded.
And it's 'cause the "victim" has actually wanted something like this to happen all along and the "abuser" has known this since the beginning.
You can make it sweet if you want and have the "abuser" be someone who is genuinely in love with the "victim" and wants to do the things that makes them happy, but I'm a psychological thriller lover so I personally could do without it for the most part lol
